You pay full shipping costs, shipping carrier & transit water bottle costs, and gas and travel. I will only ship out through the pet cargo shipping at the Columbus, Airport. It is a temperature controlled building separate from the airport. This is the safest way for the chinchillas. I will still not ship during extreme temperatures of heat or cold.

It costs almost the same amount to ship 1 chinchillas as it does to ship 6 so it is a much better value to order several chinchillas if you are going to need them to be shipped. Shipping through Continental Airlines, plus a shipping crate, bedding, travel water bottle, gas, travel time is $310, plus the price of the chinchilla. THERE IS A MINIMUM ORDER OF $100 FOR SHIPPING IN THE UNITED STATES FROM PORT COLUMBUS AIRPORT.

I have never lost an animal shipping to or receiving from, but again shipping is entirely at your own risk. If something were to happen causing death or illness to the animal there is absolutely no refund of any kind. Animals are not insured.
