Welcome to Che' Chinchillas (che' pronounced "shay"). Our baby chinchillas for sale are bred from show quality breeding lines. We have beautiful pet chinchillas for sale or breeding stock. Our breeding lines are from some of the top Ohio chinchilla breeders and top chinchilla breeders in the United States. I offer high quality chinchillas at a reasonable price. Each breeding pair is kept in a large cage, 36"x 24"x18", with an exercise wheel (unless there is a baby in the cage). They are fed high quality pellets, alfalfa, timothy hay, supplement and a bite sized shredded wheat treat. I use only distilled water for their bottles . All breeders and kits are loved and spoiled daily. Babies can be picked up for their new home at 9 to 12 weeks of age, but may be purchased as soon as they are listed. I wean the babies at 6 weeks then I monitor them in their own cage for 3 to 6 weeks to make sure they are eating and drinking well on their own and continuing to gain weight. Babies from large litters will usually take the full 12 weeks. I take the babies out and hold them everyday, tell them how pretty they are and give them a kiss on the nose so they are used to human contact. A 50% minimum deposit is required to place a baby chinchilla on hold. Deposit is non refundable unless the chinchilla is unavailable due to injury, death, etc. If chinchilla becomes unavailable you will receive a refund of your deposit or a credit towards another chinchilla (customer's choice). Full payment is to be received and cleared before the pick-up or delivery of the chinchilla. We accept paypal, money orders and cash. All chinchillas come with a care package of pellets, alfalfa cubes, bath dust, a care booklet, a free 1 year chinchilla club membership and continued help from me for any questions that you may have while raising your new baby. They also come with a carrier that is great for putting them in when you clean their cage. On this page are photos of our breeding stock. These animals are not for sale. We do not ship. You must pick up the animal by appointment or delivery to Ohio shows/events is an option. If an animal is to be picked up at a show, it must be paid in full prior to the show. Arrangements for payment/delivery need to be plannedbefore any chinchilla is considered SOLD.
